Emma is a graduate of U.B.C.’s Allard School of Law, where she was an active volunteer with the Law Students Legal Advice Program and Pro-Bono students of Canada.
After graduating, she took a different route and began working in environmental permitting and compliance for a mining company in the Yukon; a job that drew upon both her undergraduate and legal degrees. After almost 4 years in that field, she was eager to return to legal work.
Before joining Whittle & Company, Lawyers, as an articling student in 2017, Emma acted as a coordinator and advocate with the Mental Health Program at Access Pro-Bono in B.C. and a legal assistant at a busy personal injury firm in North Vancouver.
When she’s not working, she can be found reading, doing yoga and chasing after her dogs Frankie and Ayla.
